GRAPEVINE CANYON RANCH
3650 SF dining room, kitchen and social hall for a world-renowned guest ranch in Cochise County Arizona.
When a fire destroyed the original structure, the architect was brought in to design a replacement. The fire occurred at the beginning of the “season” and since the Owner was anxious to shorten the re-building process and re-open as soon as possible, the design concept included building on the original footprint.
Architect prepared separate foundation plan to expedite construction and worked closely with the Owner, County Officials and Contractor. The facility re-opened approximately 6 months after the fire.
Completed 2009
“It's always great to have a good architect! In fact, you know, after seeing the plans and talking with you, I wonder why anyone would ever build anything beyond an outhouse without one!”
